Chelsea gave their chances of finishing in the top-five a boost on Sunday with a late victory over local rivals Fulham in the Premier League.
The Blues' supporters were becoming irate as the match wore on with the hosts leading thanks to Alex Iwobi's goal. However, Enzo Maresca's side managed to rescue themselves with two late goals from Tyrique George and Pedro Neto to seal a crucial three points.
With their Champions League future unclear, it is hard to tell how much money Maresca will have to spend on squad improvements next season. In football.london's look at the media headlines, we analyse two players - one who could be coming in and another who may be leaving.
De Bruyne to Chelsea verdict clear
Speaking to the Daily Mail this weekend, Kevin De Bruyne refused to rule out signing for a Premier League club after his time at Manchester City comes to an end at the culmination of the season. He explained that he was surprised by City's decision to sell him and that he feels he can still compete at a top level.
The midfielder spent two years at Chelsea where he was mostly sent on loan. Overall, he made just nine appearances for the Stamford Bridge club before leaving permanently for Wolfsburg.
What FL says: "There is nothing particularly romantic about the prospect of De Bruyne returning to Stamford Bridge. The Belgian has no deep connection to the club which failed to give him a chance and at 33, it is difficult to see how the playmaker could add much value to the Blues.
"He has had a terrific career at City and he may well have one more season in him at the top level but injuries have caught up with him and there is no way that he would be cheap to have in the squad. Chelsea need to start spending wisely and bringing De Bruyne in does not represent that."
Nkunku future in doubt
Speaking post-Fulham, Maresca explained that Christopher Nkunku missed the victory due to 'technical reasons.' This is after the Frenchman featured in the 2-1 defeat to Legia Warsaw in the Conference League on Thursday night.
This season, the vast majority of Nkunku's goals have come in cup competitions with only two full 90 minutes under his belt in the Premier League.
What FL says: "If you are Nkunku, you are hoping that Chelsea can sell you in the summer because at 27 the best years of his career are slipping away at Chelsea. It's clear that Nkunku is out of favour and with talk persisting about the Blues signing a striker in the summer, the forward risks being pushed further down the pecking order.
"It is not all his fault, the knee, hip and hamstring injuries he suffered in the 2023/24 campaign scuppered his momentum arriving from RB Leipzig. Sadly, a fresh start is needed before he is forced out like Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell."
