The St. Louis Cardinals come to town winners of five straight games. However, the Nats will look to continue the Red Birds road struggles. The Cardinals are 4-13 on the road this season.
The Nationals are rolling out an interesting lineup tonight. Despite being one of the most productive hitters on the team, Alex Call is not in the Nationals lineup. Instead, the Nats outfield will consist of Wood, Young, and Crews, with Josh Bell at DH. Crews will be hitting below Young, which is usually not the case. Amed Rosario will also get a start against a right handed pitcher. Mitchell Parker will take the mound, looking to bounce back after a couple rough outings.

The Cardinals lineup is a mix of youth and experience. Veterans like Nolan Arenado and Willson Contreras are joined by youngsters such as Masyn Winn and Jordan Walker. Brendan Donovan has been the Red Birds best hitter this season. Former Nat Erick Fedde will take the mound. After a career revival last year, he has come back down to earth.

After a couple meltdowns against the Guardians, getting back into the win column would be very nice. Hopefully Mitchell Parker can bounce back and go deep into the game. Comment down below and let’s go Nats!
